‘The Glee Project’ Exit Q&A: ‘I theory we only wasn’t what they were looking for …

The Glee Project kicked off a second deteriorate on Jun 5, and Ryan Murphy and Co. had to let somebody go first. ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Did we watch a part final night? How was that?
MAXFIELD CAMP: we did. Going into it, we was a small bit nervous, yet we had some friends and family over to watch and we consider during a finish [the judges] were understanding and we consider we went out a best approach possible.
In a part final night, it seemed like we struggled a bit with singing in a studio. What was that knowledge like?

Being thrown into things like that right off a bat influenced me in a way. we wish, looking behind on it now, if we had a event again, I’d usually like to show, like how Zach pronounced when we was behaving on stage, we know, ‘Show some-more emotions in your face.’ we would have left some-more over-the-top than we did then. we consider a small bit of all contributed into being in a bottom three. we theory we usually wasn’t what they were looking for during a time.
On a show, we pronounced we usually started singing 6 months before to removing on The Glee Project. What done we audition?
I listened a uncover was entrance to Nashville for auditions and someone during work assured me to go for it, so we got all a forms during like 11:30 during night and afterwards a subsequent morning we was auditioning. It was a singular event to be listened and share your story. I’m usually beholden to have had a chance.

Completely. we mean, everybody wants to win and apparently we wish we had a event to stay, yet a event was extraordinary and we wouldn’t change it for anything. The people who I met were great.
Yeah, it seemed like we all connected unequivocally quickly. What was it like behind a scenes?
It was cool. It was weird, before to [living together on a show], there’s a design of us from call backs and all a people who wound adult on a uncover were right subsequent to any other. We all usually clicked and became a family. And that usually doesn’t happen—especially given had we not had that knowledge we never would have met any other.
Is there anyone you’ve kept in hold with since? Anyone call we final night?

What was it like singing for Lea Michele? It seemed like we all had no suspicion she was coming.
Yeah, initial Ryan [Murphy] walks in, and you’re like ‘Ok.’ And afterwards Lea Michele walks in. You’ve got a creator of a uncover and a star of a show. Lea Michele is gorgeous. It was awesome. we can’t protest about removing to sing in front of a flattering lady.
I couldn’t trust we certified to never conference “Born This Way” all a approach through. So funny.
It was. we wish they hadn’t put it on a show, yet when he pronounced “Born This Way” [would be the task song], my jaw usually dropped, like [seeing] something I’d never seen before. Nellie usually looked during me and we started shouting . It was so distant left. we never suspicion I’d be singing a Lady Gaga song. And on inhabitant television. But we consider we knocked it out alright. It was flattering cool.
What’s subsequent for you?
I’m singing and songwriting a lot [in Nashville] so hopefully people will see my songs soon. That would be great. I’m holding it one step during a time. we adore to sing, adore to write, adore to perform, so we devise to keep doing that.
