‘In Treatment’s’ Gabriel Byrne to Star in History Drama ‘Vikings’

The actress, who played Will Schuester’s manipulative ex-wife on a Fox low-pitched drama, has boarded a network’s initial scripted drama, Vikings, personification Gabriel Byrne’s spouse, The Hollywood Reporter has schooled exclusively.

The series, described as a demeanour during Viking enlightenment from within as good as an journey and family saga, has also combined Travis Fimmel (The Beast), Gustaf Skarsgard (The Way Back), Clive Standen (Camelot) and Katheryn Winnick (Bones) to a cast.

The scripted drama, that is being created by The Tudors‘ Michael Hirst, revolves around a Norsemen who raided, traded and explored during Gothic times and follows a adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok as he rises to turn aristocrat of a Viking tribes.

Byrne (In Treatment) will play Earl Haraldson, a former soldier and a many critical ruler in Ragnar’s district who clashes with a king. Gilsig (Nip/Tuck) will play his puzzling wife, Siggy, who might not be totally constant to her husband.
