‘Beyond Glee!’ adult behaving carol to launch with auditions during Wheaton …
The Wheaton Park District Leisure Center is organizing an adult, performance-based carol called “Beyond Glee!” to launch this September.
Organizers note that song has been clinically shown to revoke depression, while improving or progressing adult health, adding, “And it’s fun. ‘Beyond Glee!’ will yield opportunities to make friends while cultivating a life-enhancing skill.”
No prior knowledge is necessary. All singers will file outspoken abilities, while behaving with associate carol members. Stress-free, brief auditions will be hold during a Leisure Center from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, with rehearsals commencement Sept. 20.
Practices will be hold from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays during a Wheaton Park District Leisure Center, 208 W. Union Ave., in Memorial Park.
“Beyond Glee!” performances will be open to a community, and will be scheduled for evenings and weekends. Music selections will embody many renouned songs, including classics, uncover tunes and ballads. The ability to review song is helpful, though not required.
An annual price of $99 covers all music, veteran accompanist and choral director.
